Originally conceived as a simple photobooth for the CheckPoint 2.0 event in 2018, the Video Game Character quiz allows attendees to discover which video game character they are by answer 3 magical questions.
Using AR and machine learning technologies, the quiz allows attendees to see their own faces augmented with the video game character they are matched with. They can then take a picture with it and share it to their social media. In addition, the system outputs and elegantly circulates all existing attendee pictures on a separate projector for everyone to view.
For the event organizers, metrics are gathered from the interaction and uploaded to the analytics cloud backend for data gathering and analysis for more insight to the event attendees.
